One of the things that’s important to keep in mind is that family planning is important to both women AND men. Both want to ensure the best future for themselves and the children they may have. We’re fortunate to live in a day and age where most women have control over the timing of getting pregnant. There are many different types of birth control available with different side effects and effectiveness. So it’s understandable that women – and men - want to know what’s the best birth control pill.
When you think about it, the vast majority of pharmaceutical medications are designed to ‘prevent’ some type of development in the body – preventing pregnancy, preventing disease, preventing mental illness, and so on. When we look at the big picture of all humans do in the interest of prevention it’s really quite something. Most of them are done with the aim of preventing whatever it is permanently.
In other instances – and when you’re looking at birth control pills online being one of them – it’s not that you want to prevent it permanently, it’s just not the right time yet. This is entirely fair, and in truth it’s only the woman herself who can and should be determining when that time is. We’re all very fortunate that has become the predominant mindset among people all around the world now, because for a long time it wasn’t.
Women may have a different opinion about the best birth control pill. But no matter what type they prefer, birth control pills ensures that women can choose a time to become pregnant. This is also part of the appeal of buying birth control pills online, and no matter how they’re acquired every woman has the flexibility to decide when to become pregnant.
So, while we all understand that the primary reason a woman uses birth control is to dictate a good time to become pregnant, there’s been plenty of instances where people have had the worst of timing with things. Let’s look at a couple of them.
The 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center is one of the darkest days in US history and it remains an unfathomable tragedy that so many lives were lost. No one will ever put that in a different light, but it’s hard not to feel some sympathy also for a company that purchased a 99-year lease on the WTC just a couple of months before it was destroyed. Of course there’s no way anyone could have foreseen that, but it was bad timing indeed. Fortunately, things turned out for the better eventually for the company and Larry Silverstein.
Now this may be the best example of bad timing anyone could dig up. In 2007 a young couple had bought the home in Kingsteignton, England. 30 minutes after they’d walked through the doorway as owners of the home, a flash flood arrived and the home was ruined.
Back to our primary topic again, and now that we’ve exampled some instances of REALLY bad timing let’s get back to discussing the best birth control pills.
Birth control pills fall into the category of hormonal birth control methods. Yes, most of you are likely already aware of that and how they work. For those that aren’t, however, what the best birth control pill will do is actually trick the woman’s body into thinking it’s already pregnant. The body then responds by not beginning the ovulation / egg-release process that it would in regular circumstances.
Indeed, it’s a pharmacological wonder like so many others, and one of the most popular and well-regarded birth control medications is Alesse (Levonorgestrel). Like other birth control pills online, Alesse is an estrogen / progestin combination contraceptive and a very reliable medication to prevent pregnancy.
Admittedly, there’s no medication on earth that can be relied on to prevent a flash flood from ruining your new home! It’s pretty clear why municipalities across North America are now a lot more reserved about issuing building permits for areas that are on known flood plains.
Choice is a good thing, and some women will find that certain birth control medications are more agreeable with her body than others. Levora is another good choice that has favorable reviews online, and it’s also an estrogen / progestin combination medication. Micronor (NorQD) is a progestin-only medication that prevents ovulation as well as changing the cervical mucus and lining of the uterus. Progestin-only birth control works a little different than combination birth control.
As is the case with any health and wellness interest, it’s best to discuss all of this with your family physician. A woman should know the side effects of each type and other factors that should be considered before choosing a birth control.
Have any personal experiences or examples of you, or someone you know, having GREAT timing when it came to when they chose to do something? We’d love to hear about them.
