Recommended dosing:
Ointment: Use the ointment in the morning, after each bowel movement, and before you go to bed.
Suppository: Place one suppository into the anus each morning, following each bowel movement, and again in the evening.

Hydrocortisone and zinc sulfate are the active ingredients in Anodan-HC.
Germaben II and petrolatum are the inactive ingredients in Anodan-HC ointment.

Anodan-HC should not be used in patients with an allergy to hydrocortisone, zinc sulfate, or to any of the other ingredients in the medication. Anodan-HC should also not be used in patients with tuberculosis, bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infections.
