What is a Generic Drug?

Directions

Take Avandia once or twice a day as directed by your doctor. The usual dosage is 2-4 mg twice daily or 2-8 mg by mouth once daily.

Cautions

Avandia should not be used to treat types of diabetes other than type 2 diabetes.

Avandia is not approved for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.
