Ointment |
Bensal HP ointment should be used only on the skin. Do not get the ointment in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Follow your prescription's instructions.
Before treating skin with Bensal HP ointment, clean the irritated skin with saline or water and pat dry with a clean towel or cotton gauze.
The typical dose is to apply the ointment generously to the affected area(s) of the skin and spread evenly two times a day.
Wash your hands with soap and water before and after you apply the ointment. Do not cover the affected area(s) with an adhesive bandage unless directed by your doctor.
Salicylic acid is the active ingredient in Bensal HP.
Burning or warmth at the application site(s) can be caused by Bensal HP. Immediately tell your doctor if you experience severe burning, skin irritation, or any other irritating or persistent side effects.
