Bicillin L-A (penicillin G benzathine injectable suspension) is an antimicrobial that is administered intramuscularly for treating or preventing bacterial infections that are susceptible to the medication.
Bicillin L-A is available in single-use syringes that are disposable.

Patients with an allergy to penicillin should avoid Bicillin L-A.

Bicillin L-A injection side effects include, but are not limited to, allergic reactions, gastrointestinal problems, anemia, abnormal blood cell counts, injection site reactions, abnormal heart rhythms, nausea, vomiting, and blurred vision.
