Directions

Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Children’s Formula should be administered as directed on the product label. The medication should not be given to children who are younger than 6 years old.

Before giving, be sure to thoroughly shake the bottle well.

Recommended dosing for children 6-12 years old:

2 teaspoons (10 mL) by mouth every 6 hours. Do not exceed more than 40 mL in 24 hours.

Keep at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F). Store out of children’s reach.

Contraindications

Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Children’s Formula products should not be given to children who are allergic to any of the ingredients in either product.

Avoid combining Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Children’s Formula with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, or other medications used to treat depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease, or for 2 weeks after discontinuing the medication.

Avoid combining Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Children’s Formula with other cough and cold medications.

Ingredients

The cough suppressant dextromethorphan hydrobromide and the expectorant guaifenesin are the active ingredients in Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Cough & Cold.

Anhydrous citric acid, blueberry juice concentrate, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, flavour, glycerin, honey flavour, lactic acid, polyethylene glycol 1450, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium gluconate, sucralose, water, xanthan gum, and zinc gluconate are the inactive ingredients included.

The cough suppressant dextromethorphan hydrobromide, the expectorant guaifenesin, and the antihistamine doxylamine succinate are the active ingredients in Buckley’s Jack & Jill Bedtime Honey Cough & Cold.

Anhydrous citric acid, blueberry juice concentrate, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, flavour, glycerin, honey flavour, lactic acid, polyethylene glycol 1450, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium gluconate, sucralose, water, xanthan gum, and zinc gluconate are the inactive ingredients included.

Cautions

  • Before Buckley’s Jack & Jill Honey Children’s Formula is initiated, discuss the following with your child’s doctor or pharmacist:
