Before use, shake the bottle well. For adults and children 12 years old or older, it is recommended to take 1 to 2 teaspoons (5-10 mL) orally every 2 to 3 hours. No more than 50 mL should be taken within a 24 hour period. If desired, the medication may be mixed with equal parts of honey.
If carton ends are damaged or open, do not use the product.
5 mL of Buckley’s Original Mixture contains the following active ingredient amounts: 153 mg of ammonium carbonate, 267 mg of potassium bicarbonate, 22 mg of menthol, and 2.2 mg of camphor. Canada balsam, carrageenan, glycerin, pine needle oil, propylparaben, sodium cyclamate, tincture of capsicum, and water are the inactive ingredients.
