What is a Generic Drug?

Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel is a topical medication used to alleviate back pain, rheumatic pain, muscle aches, and pains and swelling, including sprains, strains and injuries related to sports.

Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel comes as a gel for use on the skin.

Directions

Use Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel as directed on the product or prescription label. Typically, 1-4 centimeters of gel is thinly applied up to 3 times a day. It should not be applied more than every 4 hours. Avoid application to skin that is infected, broken, or inflamed. If your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, contact your doctor.

Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel contains the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) ibuprofen. Avoid using the gel if you have asthma and NSAIDs cause you to have asthma attacks.

Keep Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel stored below 25°C and out of reach of children. The gel should not be used if it has expired.

Ingredients

Ibuprofen and levomenthol are the active ingredients in Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel.

Carbomer, propylene glycol, diisopropanolamine, ethanol, and purified water are inactive ingredients included.

Contraindications

Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel should not be used by patients who are allergic to ibuprofen, menthol, aspirin, other pain medications, or any of the other ingredients in the gel.

Patients who are more than 6 months pregnant or who are breastfeeding should not use Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel.

  • Before you begin using Deep Relief Anti-inflammatory Gel, discuss the following with your doctor:
