What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

Description

Many people will feel that allergic conjunctivitis is the worst part of having severe allergies, and that’s because the red and extremely itchy eyes are the most intolerable symptom. The constant eye watering is awful too, and all three of them together is going to create a real need for finding an effective eye allergy treatment quickly. Emadine eye drops work by blocking the histamines that force eyes to react the way they do with allergen exposure, and for most one or two drops in each eye is all that’s required for eye allergy relief.

You can buy Emadine eye drops with a prescription at most pharmacies, but you’ll likely find your best Emadine eye drops price is when you order medication online from Canada Drugs Direct.

Directions

  1. Wash hands before using Emadine eye drops.
  2. Tilt head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  3. Hold the dropper above the eye with the tip down before squeezing out one drop into each eye.
  4. Close both eyes for 2 to 3 minutes with your head tilted downwards.
  5. Gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute to prevent medicated liquid from draining into your tear duct.

Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or place it directly on your eye. Store at room temperature and away from moisture and heat.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Emadine eye drops is Emedastine Difumarate
