Firdapse should be taken as your healthcare provider has instructed. Your dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your healthcare provider.

Storage:
Firdapse tablets should be stored at room temperature between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C). Keep the medication away from children. Firdapse oral suspension should be refrigerated between 36°F and 46°F (2°C and 8°C) for up to 24 hours.
Amifampridine is the active ingredient in Firdapse 10 mg. Calcium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and microcrystalline cellulose are the inactive ingredients included.
Patients with a history of seizures or an allergy to amifampridine phosphate or another aminopyridine should avoid taking Firdapse.
Firdapse side effects include but are not limited to tingling around the mouth, tongue, face, fingers, toes, and other body parts; upper respiratory infection; stomach pain; nausea; diarrhea; headache; increased liver enzymes; back pain; high blood pressure; and muscle spasms. Contact your healthcare provider right away if you experience bothersome or persistent side effects.
