What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

Description

Jencycla is a prescription oral birth control medication used to prevent pregnancy. It is a no-estrogen contraceptive prescribed for women who need a birth control pill without estrogen. Unlike birth control meds with estrogen it will not prevent ovulation but as a progestin-only birth control pill it prevents a woman's egg from fully developing and causing the cervical mucus to thicken. Birth control medications are taken on a specific dosing cycle, and it is important to stick to this schedule for reliable birth control if a woman wants to prevent pregnancy while continuing to have unprotected sex.

You can buy Jencycla with a prescription, and your best price on it will be when you order medication online from us.

Directions

Jencycla birth control is taken on a 28-day schedule month to month. Take 1 pill each day at the same time for the first 21 days starting on the first day of your cycle, and then you will not take the medication for the remaining 7 days.

It is important to not miss doses, but if you do miss a dose you should not take a make-up dose in place of it. Instead resume taking your scheduled dose at the regular time the next day. In the event 2 or more doses are missed in a row it will be best to use barrier method (condom or IUD) birth control until the birth control medication cycle can be re-established.
