MoviPrep should be used as your doctor has instructed. Read the medication guide that comes with the product for further instructions for use.
For optimal preparation for your colonoscopy, two doses should be completed.
Once you start MoviPrep, refrain from drinking anything besides clear liquids until after your colonoscopy. Refrain from consuming alcohol, milk, or any red, purple, or pulp-containing foods and drinks. Other laxatives should be avoided. Oral medications should not be taken within 1 hour of starting each dose of MoviPrep. Ensure that you finish the second dose at least 2 hours before the colonoscopy.
Once MoviPrep is mixed with water, it should be kept upright in a refrigerator; use within 24 hours.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) 3350, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, and potassium chloride are the active ingredients in Pouch A. Ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate are the active ingredients in Pouch B.
Aspartame, acesulfame potassium, and lemon flavoring including citral, lemon oil and lime oil, maltodextrin, xanthan gum, and vitamin E are the inactive ingredients in Pouch A.
MoviPrep should not be administered to patients with gastrointestinal obstruction, bowel perforation, gastric retention, ileus, toxic colitis or megacolon, or an allergy to any of its ingredients.
MoviPrep side effects include but are not limited to general discomfort, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, anal discomfort, thirst, hunger, rigor, and dizziness. Inform your doctor right away of any bothersome or persistent side effects you experience.
