Apply the cream as your doctor has prescribed. The typical dose is to apply a generous amount of cream to the affected area(s) twice a day until resolution of the infection.
Wash your hands well before and after Mycostatin Cream application.
Nystatin, an antifungal, is contained in Mycostatin Cream.
Mycostatin Cream should not be used in patients who have an allergy to nystatin or any of the other ingredients in Mycostatin Cream.
Mycostatin Cream can cause side effects such as burning, itching, rash, eczema, and pain at the application site. Call your doctor if you develop side effects that bother you or won't resolve.
