Nexavar (sorafenib) is a medication used for treating liver cancer, kidney cancer, and differentiated thyroid cancer that is uncontrolled with radioactive iodine treatment.
Nexavar is supplied in 200 mg tablets for oral administration.

Nexavar should not be administered to patients with an allergy to any of its ingredients or to patients with squamous cell lung cancer who are taking carboplatin and paclitaxel.
Common Nexavar side effects include, but are not limited to, diarrhea, fatigue, infection, hair loss, skin reactions, weight loss, appetite loss, nausea, stomach pains, high blood pressure, and bleeding.
