Recommended starting dose:
Patients generally start out by taking 9 tablets (7,200 mg) daily: 3 tablets in the morning, 3 tablets at noon, and 3 tablets in the evening. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Piracetam is the active ingredient in each Nootropil tablet. Piracetam exerts its action on the brain and nervous system and is believed to prevent oxygen shortage.
Macrogol 6000, macrogol 400, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), sunset yellow (E110), and talc are the inactive ingredients included.
Avoid the use of Nootropil if you have any of the following:
Spontaneous bleeding, mood changes, hallucinations, balance problems when standing, restlessness, nervousness, sleepiness, weakness, depression, vertigo, weight gain, stomach pain, diarrhea, feeling sick, headache, sleep problems, skin swelling, skin rash, and skin itching are some Nootropil side effects that may occur.
