Oxsoralen-Ultra is not recommended in patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in Oxsoralen-Ultra or in patients with melanoma or a history of melanoma or invasive skin cancer. In addition, the medication is not recommended in patients who do not have an eye lens.
Oxsoralen-Ultra is not recommended in patients with photosensitivity caused by conditions such as lupus, porphyria, xeroderma pigmentosum, and albinism unless there is a special circumstance.
The most common side effect is nausea. This may not be only the side effect that can occur, so immediately inform your doctor of any bothersome or persistent side effects.
