Oxtellar XR should be avoided in patients with an allergy to eslicarbazepine acetate, oxcarbazepine, or to any of the medication’s other components.
Oxtellar XR side effects include vomiting, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, indigestion, vision problems, weakness, nasopharyngitis, and sinusitis. However, other side effects can occur, so if you develop side effects that are bothersome or persistent, immediately call your doctor.
