It is recommended to apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected area(s) of the skin.
Salicylix should be applied to clean, dry skin of the affected area(s).
Avoid getting the ointment in your eyes or mouth. You should not apply the ointment to genital warts, facial warts, warts with hair, warts in the nose or mouth, or moles.
Avoid applying other topical medications to the same area where Salicylix was applied.
Salicylic acid is the active ingredient in Salicylix.
Tell your doctor if you experience troublesome or persistent side effects. Salicylix ointment can cause skin irritation, stinging, rash, skin color or texture changes, or skin redness.
