If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for the next dose. Do not take two doses at once.

The most common side effects of Savella include nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. Other frequently reported reactions are increased sweating (hyperhidrosis), constipation, and increased heart rate. Hot flashes and dry mouth were also common among patients during clinical trials. These side effects were generally mild and often improved over time.
Savella may cause more serious side effects, such as elevated blood pressure, palpitations, or serotonin syndrome, particularly when combined with certain other medications. Rare cases of severe skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome and severe liver issues such as hepatitis have been reported. In male patients, genitourinary side effects such as difficulty urinating or decreased libido were noted.
