You or a caregiver should receive instructions on the proper storage, preparation, administration, and disposal of Serostim by a healthcare professional. The medication should be administered subcutaneously (underneath the skin) in the thigh, abdomen, upper arm, or buttock. To lessen the risk of local irritation, rotate the injection sites with each injection.
