Your treatment plan will be decided by your healthcare provider. Your or a caregiver should receive instructions on how to properly store, prepare, administer, and dispose of Somavert. Somavert should be administered subcutaneously (underneath the skin) in the upper arm, thigh, abdomen, or buttocks; be sure to rotate the injection site with each administration.
Before reconstitution, Somavert should be refrigerated between 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F); avoid freezing. Store out of children’s reach.
Do not reuse or share needles and syringes with other people.

Pegvisomant, including polyethylene glycol, is the active ingredient in Somavert.
Glycine, mannitol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, and sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous are the inactive ingredients.
