Take Tivicay exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dosage is 50 mg by mouth one to two times daily.
The active ingredient in Tivicay is dolutegravir.
Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any of the following:
Do not take this drug if you are taking a medication called dofetilide (Tikosyn).
Take Tivicay 2 hours before or 6 hours after antacids, laxatives, and other drugs that affect digestion.
Tell your doctor if you notice symptoms of body fat redistribution or immune reconstitution syndrome.
