What is a Generic Drug?

Directions

Trusopt should be used as directed. Carefully read the medication guide for further usage instructions.

Recommended Trusopt dosage: With clean hands, instill one drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day.

Keep Trusopt stored between 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C) and away from light exposure.

Refer any questions or concerns to your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

Dorzolamide hydrochloride is the active ingredient.

Hydroxyethyl cellulose, mannitol, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), and water for injection are the inactive ingredients included. Benzalkonium chloride 0.0075% is a preservative that is also included.

Contraindications

Do not use Trusopt if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Side Effects

Side effects of Trusopt may include but are not limited to stinging, burning, or discomfort of the eyes; bitter taste; superficial punctate keratitis; and ocular allergic reaction signs and symptoms.
