What is a Generic Drug?

Vizimpro should be taken as your doctor has directed. Your doctor will decide on a Vizimpro dose that is appropriate for you.

Vizimpro tablets should be stored between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F); keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients

Dacomitinib is the active ingredient in Vizimpro.

Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, and in the film coating: Opadry II® Blue 85F30716 containing: polyvinyl alcohol – partially hydrolyzed, talc, titanium dioxide, macrogol/PEG 3350, and FD&C Blue #2/Indigo Carmine Aluminum Lake are the inactive ingredients.

  • Vizimpro is associated with the following warnings and precautions:
    • Interstitial lung disease
    • Diarrhea
    • Dermatologic adverse reactions
    • Harm to an unborn baby–females who are capable of reproducing are advised to use effective birth control methods while being treated with Vizimpro and for at least 17 days after taking the final treatment dose

Side Effects

Vizimpro side effects include but are not limited to diarrhea, rash, infection of the nail, swelling and sores in the mouth, decreased appetite, dry skin, weight loss, hair loss, cough, and itching.
