Directions

Zaditor eye drops should be used as directed. The information that accompanies the product should be carefully read. Any questions or concerns may be referred to your doctor or pharmacist.

Zaditor Eye Drops Dosage

Adults and children who are 3 years of age and older: Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, every 8-12 hours. The eye drops should not be used more than twice daily.

To prevent contamination, the tip of the container should not touch any surface. Remove your contact lenses before using Zaditor eye drops; wait at least 10 minutes after using Zaditor to put them back in. Place the cap back on the product after use.

Consult with your doctor or pharmacist about safely using other eye drops with Zaditor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Zaditor eye drops is ketotifen (0.025%), an antihistamine.

Contraindications

Avoid using Zaditor eye drops:

  • if the solution changes color or is cloudy
  • if you have an allergy to any of its ingredients
  • for treating irritation associated with contact lenses
