Elbasvir and grazoprevir are the active ingredients in Zepatier.
Colloidal silicon dioxide, copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium chloride, sodium lauryl sulfate, vitamin E polyethylene glycol succinate, carnauba wax, ferrosoferric oxide, hypromellose, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide, and triacetin are the inactive ingredients.
Zepatier should not be given to patients with moderate or severe liver dysfunction.
Zepatier should not be taken with OATP1B1/3 inhibitors that can significantly increase grazoprevir plasma concentrations, strong CYP3A4 inducers, and efavirenz. Talk to your doctor about whether you take these medications.
If you are also taking ribavirin, its contraindications also apply. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about any contraindications you may have.
Zepatier medication side effects include but are not limited to headache, fatigue, and nausea.
